Sue Perkins is an excellent host and incredibly funny — there were numerous occasions where I actually laughed out loud, thereby incurring some rather bemused stares from members of the public. It was worth the descent into public ridicule, as I was utterly hooked by the endlessly erratic nature of this woman’s activities (which I will refrain from spoiling here).
