“I haven't read the books but I love the show. The best parts of this podcast are the discussions of how things are similar to or different from the books, or how some of the hosts (those who have read the books) reacted to certain scenes. These discussions give some greater insight into the complexity of the books and the world created by George R. R. Martin. I have two complaints about the podcast, though. First, it's way too long. The average podcast is an hour, which is twice as long as it needs to be. Second, and this relates to the first problem, the podcasts lack structure and editing. I appreciate a lot of the humor and digressions, but there is too much of it. I often feel after listening to a podcast that I spent half the time waiting for the hosts to stop cracking jokes (that often get progressively more inane or inside, making them incomprehensible to those who haven't read the books) and move on to the next substantive discussion. My suggestion, which would address both of my issues, is to spend a little more time editing the podcasts before publishing them. Leave in the humor, but trim the fat.”Read full review »

“Good podcast recapping Game of Thrones spoiler free. They do a good job, but that Tim is super nerd. I dont know what they're going to do during the break, but they've done well so far.”Read full review »
