Always Jonesin' for the Next Episode!
Brenda Dayne's podcast on knitting, accompanied by an inspired mix podsafe music, is a fine addition to both the emerging podcast medium and to popular knitting culture. Brenda’s skill with language is a tremendous asset, painting an engaging picture of life and knitting in Wales. The format -- that of a knitting magazine -- provides a structure which is often lacking in other podcasts and also guides the listener through the audio publication. Ms. Dayne excels as an essayist, and her works are at times funny, irreverent, poignant, and heartbreaking. Sometimes all four in the span of a single paragraph. Such is her talent. And far from hogging the glory, Brenda invites contributors from far and wide, allowing her audience a little variety and promoting new and emerging talent. The technical aspects of this podcast are first rate. What few problems there were have been worked out, leaving us with radio-quality sound and carefully planned and skillfully executed segue ways. And did I mention the music kicks a**? No other way to word it. Bravo.Read full review »

This podcast is about life and philosophy, but through the particular lens of knitting. Much if not all of this talented podcaster's work would be of interest to anyone who finds questioning their life and work/craft a worthwhile, satisfying activity. Most stimulating!Read full review »
