These Ladies Are My Kinda People
After the podcast “Death in the Afternoon” ceased uploading in 2019, I didn’t know how much I had missed the quirky tales of weird deaths and how different people deal with them until I found this pod. These talented ladies are real, funny, give great context, and tell the tales with their delightful banter with the respect and awe these events deserve. Breaking the cannibalism down to land, ice, and sea is a refreshing setup. These ladies have kept me sane through the lockdown so if you want your brain to thank you, give this podcast a listen!

Great podcast! I greatly enjoy how well-informed and nuanced the discussion is, while remaining hilarious. I also enjoy that there is a transcript and further readings. Would recommend (and have already done so)

I can’t tell you how long I’ve wished and searched for a podcast on this exact topic. I’m so glad it exists and I can’t wait for more episodes. This podcast is so unique, it covers a fascinating niche topic that other podcasts shy away from. Thank you, Alix and Carmella!
