Suffering recycled
I wept the first time I listened to Steve’s podcast. If there has ever been an example of suffering recycled, it can surely be found in Steve’s own journey. When something is recycled, the substance is still there, but it has been put to a different and better use. Listen and let the healing balm - the compassion - of Steve’s own experience flow into your wounds. These aren’t pious platitudes, folks. Steve’s words are born from personal anguish, from someone who walked, and continues to walk the walk of the suffering Christian. And I would say that makes him just like Jesus.
