The one conservative podcast I will recommend.
I sharply disagree with libertarianism--not enough room here to elaborate, just suffice it to say that while I am no fan of Big Government I don't think that letting Big Business rock out uninterrupted is a recipe for a just, fair, and free society either. As for the podcast, it is rather good. Conservatism without the religious nuttery, and presented calmly. And the Cato Institute is to be commended to the heavens for taking a principled and intellectually consistent stand against militarism. Refreshing indeed. Interesting topics with a concise overview of the CATO's views but leaves me wishing for some actual data or some details so that I could understand how they reached those conclusions. I could also do without the snarky comments about the bad people who disagree.Read full review »

Most of the times they do stories that are principled libertarianism while some of the interviews just seem contrarian for the sake of it.

I love the insight into current issues, but find the episodes too lengthy for a daily format—I rarely have time to listen alongside my regular news podcasts.
