Self Reflection
I used to love cbc now I force myself to listen to it just to hear what the political left is saying. I want to hear a balanced view on things. It’s unfortunate that cbc can’t better reflect the diverse views of the people who fund it. When speaking of polarization, Andrew Coyne spoke of a “significant minority” that had “dropped out of the reality based universe.” We have polarization and division because we have people in the media like this, hateful and degrading towards others. It shouldn’t take much self reflection for the people at cbc to realize they’re part of the problem.

Try though she might Rosie Barton is no Peter Mansbridge. As time marches on Chantel Hebert who used to be spot on, can scarcely conceal her distaste for all things Conservative and basically dismisses Western Canada as the votes Ottawa doesn’t need. Althea is a pleasant surprise.
