“The only reason I'm even still listening to this podcast is because there isn't any other show that takes a broad look at the whole CBB landscape. I can't watch every game, but I still want to listen to a good overview of what's going on while travelling to or from work. Unfortunately, this trash is the only option.
Gary Parrish is a complete tool operating under the delusion that he's important, intelligent, and funny. He is precisely NONE of those things. He rambles for ages; constantly shares personal anecdotes that literally no one besides himself cares about; interrupts and cuts off his (infinitely more likeable and knowledgable) cohost Matt Norlander; name-drops coaches and personalities like he's some kind of big shot; and defends his record by either a) engaging in the most laughable revisionist history, b) drowning his predictions in wiggle words so he can't be held accountable, or c) laughing any criticism off with false modesty and equivalencies.
Are you a likeable person with a microphone and a couple friends who also love college basketball? Please, please, PLEASE make a better general-interest college hoops podcast so I don't have to listen to this garbage anymore.

It's not...”Read full review »

“One of my favorite podcasts after Red Ticket Blues.
Yes, Parrish loves to hear himself talk, many times keeping Matt and Sam as silent listeners, but all-around good podcast. I've tried ESPNU and the CBS guys are light years better.”Read full review »
