Listener question: I know I'm a direct person, but I'm being told I'm aggressive. How do I know the difference?
I have personal experience with this topic in two different different ways and suggestions of how to navigate them:
First, you need to ask for specific examples of situations in which you were labeled “aggressive.” Then, you need to explore what type of discomfort you want to choose: shifting your communication or allowing others to feel discomfort.
