I absolutely love this show. I listened the first time as they released and with the considerable time between episodes it was sometimes hard to remember where we were in the story. I just finished bingeing the episodes again and I cannot recommend it more highly. The new commentary episodes are...Read full review »

Up to about episode 12, and while there are interesting parts, it is also difficult to grasp. There are parts that could use way more description, with much yelling or noise effects that don’t describe what’s going on. It is difficult to follow a story that doesn’t paint a clear(ish) picture....Read full review »

Celeritas is an absolute masterpiece. Carefully crafted from start to finish, this fully immersive show will grip you with its talons from the very start and refuses to let go. Yes, there is a lot of breathing and panting as some other reviews have noted. But it’s consistent and accurate to...Read full review »

It’s a little too corny. It is fun though

Story was way too hard to follow and so much cussing. I lost interest early on but was forced to continue to listen thru all 12 episodes by my wife. I finally gave up at episode 10. The protagonist screams and breaths/pants more than I have ever heard in all of my podcast years of listening...Read full review »

The choppy breathing!!! It’s awful. If you said you like this, you are lying. The story has become so hard to foll

I listened to the entire season on a Sunday morning. It drew me in, made me laugh and cry; excellent writing and story! I’ve listened to many different sci fiction podcasts and this one stands out as one of the very best. Great job!

I wanted to love it but finally had to bail at episode 11. Very boring and the actor while great only had himself to play off of. His narration got tiring and episode upon episode of grunting and pain was all I could take. It’s confusing to follow.

The story was interesting and overall good. It could have probably been built out more. Occasionally it was hard to visualize what was going on. But the profanity feels really out of place and unneeded. Thanks to the team for putting in so much effort.

I like this one a lot. Drew me in right away. I can’t wait for the next episode. I really, really wish they were longer. That’s my only negative. Updating…now my issue is it’s over. Noooooo…please do more episodes in this universe!

Some of it is really good but the huffing and puffy breathing and screaming are too much good lord it’s literally 80 percent of the episode🙄🙄. Also the half slobbered sentences are STUPID ANNOYING And the constant screaming?? I find myself skipping through a lot of it😕 Also the little girl is too...Read full review »

I really want to give this series a better rating. The story and concept is good. The problem is the scene transitions and action sequences are poorly implemented. At times all you get are noises with no explanation or story items to make it understandable what happened.

Ok

This could be really good, but it’s hard to believe Owen’s an astronaut with how he’s always crying, dropping F-bombs, and flipping out. Then Clementine seems completely sheltered, more childish than believable, especially with how much Owen cusses. The quality of the podcast audio events are...Read full review »

One of the best audio dramas I came across. I am a sound designer myself and I find this very well done. The only little problem I have is, that I can’t understand the dialogues all the time. Probably because I’m German, even though my English is quite okay. and then there’s sometimes a bit too...Read full review »

As others have noted, the sound effects are definitely on the nose, I’d really prefer not having Owen gurgle and pant directly into my ear every few minutes or scream at the top of his lungs. This show could take more inspiration from shows like X Minus One, which perfected the Scifi radio story.

This podcast has a lot of potential but the whining and crying is so annoying.

I just finished season one and I’m so impressed by Alexander Adell’s acting. It was so powerful and engaging, I felt like I was right there. Combine that with smart writing and great plot twists, it’s no wonder I binge listened to this in a day. I will listen to it again. Highly recommend this...Read full review »

OMG - thankfully real astronauts never scream like the subject character of this podcast. It’s so distracting that paying attention to the story is next to impossible. I gave up after 5 episodes. I’d much rather read it instead of expecting a bad voice actor to be a real actor who recognizes...Read full review »

Have had this podcast for a while but didn’t get a chance to get to it. Binged the whole thing in a morning and can’t wait until the next episode comes out. Definitely worth a listen.

The writing and sound design of this podcast is excellent. New episodes take a while to come out, but it seems like that’s due to budget constraints. Hang in there because it’s worth it! Thank you to everyone who works on this podcast. It’s incredible!

It was supposed to be 12 episodes. There is only 11. Evidently Owen swallows a pill. His daughter tells him to cough it up. The End. Hmm.

This storycast is just what I want from the best sci fi- insightful, thought provoking, personal, funny, scary, evocative, expansive. It wastes very little time yet doesn’t feel hurried—Just well edited, constructed and performed for an auditory medium. Most other sci fi and action podcasts I’ve...Read full review »

Lots of huffing and puffing, yelling and random loud noises. Given the months and months between releases this just feels so incomplete, it is challenging to follow the story. The sick kid trope is agonizing and I have come to skipping it mostly. Halfway through ep 10 and I cannot even finish...Read full review »

This is a really good story. Really good. It is somewhat nerfed by the constant screaming, grunting, and panting. I get it’s a recording of his experience, but it’s so overdone it distracts from the story.

the one thing that is totally bothersome is that the episodes are only 10 minutes long. I just finished listening to episode 10 and I hope that’s not the last one because the ending isn’t explained. But I’ve really enjoyed listening to it. It kept my attention

It is a great storyline, and fantastic action, and the emotion really makes the story feel real. However, it does sound like he is constipated in most of the later episodes.

Please do more episodes I beg it’s soo good I love to listen to it.the emotions were so go I almost cried 🤦🏼‍♀️. Can’t wait for more

I do love this show and the voice acting is top notch. They really nailed the sense of terror that id expect to have if I were in the situation. However, it is an absolute ripoff of Wolf 359 episode 30.
Boom Boom Wow Jacobi via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/12/23
It’s like a movie I can’t wait to see again. There’s definitely not anything else like it. I audibly gasped several times—very exciting. I did find myself skipping thru the flashbacks with the kid. I don’t like overly sentimental stuff, and I don’t like to be sad.
