First half was great
Enjoyed the first half, but had a hard time listening to the second. I really dislike this family and it’s clear they created their own stories about “the system” that are not challenged at all. I would have appreciated even a few critical points by the podcaster, especially given how much of our society is now affected by disinformation and problematic conspiratorial beliefs.

Same took a story I knew well and made it so engaging - and researched with such vigour and tenacity - that I think he could read cereal ingredients in such a way that I’d put it on repeat. Beautifully told, and responsibly reported. Probably ruined endless, lesser, podcasters for me!

This story is compelling, surprising, frustrating, emotional, poignant. Sam Mullins conducts really skillful interviews and gives perfect narration. The music is appropriate but not overwhelming. Sam Mullins and his team have put together an excellent telling of the story behind the Vernon Wild Boys. Thoroughly enjoyed the binge. Production was slightly marred by repeated portions of audio throughout.
