Well-told story of where America is headed
This is an engaging, kindly-told look at a slice of a life, showing what is destroying society: mental illness left untreated, childhood trauma driving decisions, indulgent parents who refuse to accept truth, lack of consequences for poor behavior, lack of accepting responsibility, and lack of common sense-all delivered through the lens of one family’s offbeat journey showing the true divide in life. The amazing journey described demonstrates how the section of self-reflective society, symbolized by Tammy, is so ready to accept blame/blame themselves when trying to do the right thing for all, while those who bulldoze through life without self-reflection key into the surrounding noise, like the Horns, and never consider accountability. It’s a mirror on society as a whole.

I binged this podcast and was so hooked start to finish. Really loved the host’s ability to walk us through the story with both compassion and skepticism. Definitely a worthwhile listen and I loved the reflection at the end.
