Well told but
This is a very well-produced series but it goes downhill after the conclusion of the 4th episode. The first half was intriguing and interesting but by the time the second half started I was already questioning why there even needed to be a second half. Chameleon has the habit of stretching the story out longer than it needs to be. The series could have easily been 5-6 episodes and not much would have been lost. I didn’t need 4 episodes into the pathology of why two boys would flee to Canada and ignore basic medical advice. I don’t believe in giving people like the Horns a platform in any capacity. Even if it’s for entertainment. I know that podcasts like this exist in the nebulous region between entertainment and journalism but the host was way too soft on Kyle and Roan when talking and questioning them about their, frankly concerning, beliefs. I liked this season much more than Chameleon season 2 but it still hasn’t managed to recapture the energy that season 1 had.

Double kudos for the sensitive handling of the mental health issues that run through...Read full review »
