A Voyage You'll Never Forget
Welcome to the Rowdy Boys excursion to the New Lands! If you're in the mood for high tides, a very cleanly constructed homebrew world, and a group of adventurers ready to make some waves then look no further! ChasmQuest drags you in right off the hop with a very immersive world created by the DM Andrew, who has fleshed out a world through an extensive timeline. The history leading up to the present day, the geography, and political structure are built up so well that it feels like this kingdom has been around for years and you're just stepping into it. The show not only organically shows you what has happened in this world, it actually allowed the players to step into these heroes of myth and legend and partially shape history as the world was explained around them. This was what first hooked me, you could introduce these note worthy heroes and get to know the players around the table, which seemed to help them out as well learning the ropes of this new realm! The second reason I very much enjoy this new show is the cast. The cast starts out with a bang, showing solid chemistry and knocking out jokes along with meaningful roleplaying choices. More often than not we are met with one or the other, but ChasmQuest manages to give you that dual package and not awkwardly hand you it at the door. The characters are fleshed out and developed well and compliment each other whether they are just in roleplaying moments or engaging in a very deadly food fight. So if you are looking for a story with rich lore, a well developed set of characters, intruiging NPCs and adventure , then this is the story for you. So jump on in, learn the Rowdy Boys secret handshake, and let Andrew send you adrift as you embark on the tale to the New Lands in ChasmQuest!Read full review »

Are they professionals? Or are they all just that good? That’s for them to know and us to ponder about I guess. I am convinced they are. The DM is so good at switching between voices and the players all have very good character voices. I love it! 10/10 would listen again.
