Disappointing on so many levels
I became aware of this podcast through Tony Martin's use of disability slurs in a recent episode. His response to the respectful way that issue was brough to his attention was petulant and demonstrated that his ego is more important to him than respect for his listeners. Having listened to the episode in question, it became clear why the TV networks passed on this - the humour is tired and really just not that funny. What was funny 20-30 years ago is perhaps not so much any more....or maybe the rest of us have just grown up a bit. Shame really, I used to really enjoy Tony's work but he could use some new content and a dose of humility.Read full review »

Funny as anything else not on TV (and on TV, for that matter); in five years time, commercial breakfast TV might be saying season one was ahead of its time

Life is funny you know, sometimes you get given something and you don’t appreciate it and then It’s gone, now the only thing good about radio was Tony Martin and now he’s back in a Podcast. I don’t ask much from you, but if you do one thing and only that, then you listen to this and enjoy it
