“Background: I’m 42 years old male nerd. I was expecting mystery / thriller based on ads I heard on other podcasts.
To me the protagonist seems like angsty and moody teenager. Younger listeners may find protagonist more relatable.

“The acting and audio quality are really incredible. At this point, I don’t expect anything less from BBC Radio 4. However, I felt the story was a bit thin. There were so many side characters that I didn’t get to know enough to connect with them.”

“After Shadow over Insmouth I was looking for something similar and the post show ads seemed to be pushing this.
Given the intrusive noise and the the whole tension between dad and kid over dead mum who was apparently “psychic” seems to have been written by teenagers too.
