“Was hoping for a podcast that at least attempted to unpack the essence of its name. Never once is Illuminati defined or its history unpacked. Forget about other secret societies. Listen only if you want the same mysteries you’ve heard a million times already, approached with a cynical or outright mocking manner. While Mathis and Alex are inquisitive, their thought processes and research has been influenced and hampered by an "academic" (Jesse) masquerading as an intellectual, typical for lifelong indoctrinated, as a MENSA member speaking. There is no desire for learning the secrets of power today and the true history of where we come from.
