One of the best windows onto modern China
A much needed humanization of Chinese people and a refreshing lens to explore a (still) highly unknown place to most westerners From the “Made in China” hiphop song in the trailer to my favourite episodes like: How Chinese governance fundamentals impact healthcare and national security, to the latest Coronastories from Asia. I enjoy the atmosphere created by Jordan in the way he interviews his guests, the people he picks and the humour and love for Chinese people and culture -despite everything else which he does not shy from calling out- palpable throughout his conversations. P.S: I just listened to Coronastory from Taiwan. As a fellow Moroccan living in Taiwan, I am glad Asmae and her brother's stories got to be told and heard in this space.Read full review »
