Informative and laid-back
A podcast for sinophiles, literature aficionados, and people with even a passing interest in intelligent discussion about stories and narrative that usually requires a $90,000 grad school education. Rob and Lee are not only funny but incredibly smart and proficient in their field, and showcase their passion for a literature that mainstream education all but ignores but desperately needs to be better educated in. If you want to hear crazy stories about suicidal lovers, galaxy-spanning poets, and political revolutionaries, then this podcast will entertain you. If you want to understand more about the hidden aspect of China that even China has forgotten, this podcast will inform you. And if you are just looking for a podcast that will make you feel smarter, this is definitely the right podcast for you.
