Fabulous podcast!
There is so many reasons why I like this podcast so I'll stick to the main ones : - it DOES cure you from boring difficult Shakespeare. Take it from someone who has tried and failed before and who is annoyed by the endless movie adaptations of Romeo and Juliet... - really great advices that can be applied for a wide range of litterature works - those great advices are introduced in a simple, colloquial manner. There is no nonsense about specific litterature vocabulary. - i now get that Shakespeare was actually a clever guy who wanted to pass on some important things he'd realized about life... to US, not just to some litterature scholars only. So basically it's a people-friendly, culture-and-quality-for-all podcast.Read full review »

Taking the plays in small doses and dissecting their meaning really adds to my understanding of and appreciation for Shakespeare.

I am am considered smart and successful by many, but I do not have the talent to learn foreign languages and Shakespeare has always seemed a foreign language to me and therefore unenjoyable to me. This podcast breaks it down for me without talking down to me.
