Relaying controversial church history accurately
Love the historicity and the true contextual placement of church facts, as opposed to the wildly sensationalised and dishonest portrayal of Joseph and the Restoration. Done with honesty and integrity. Which can’t be said for a lot of the toxic, putrid, festering exmo “historians”.

So well done! A lot of scholarly podcasts can be terribly dry and almost awkward. These two hosts are definitely not that. They bring up some thorny points about each issue but leave out a lot of others. I learn something from most episodes, but a lot of it feels like weak rationalization. They never claim to be unbiased, but they also aren’t willing to be critical of the Church—which seems a little disingenuous.
