Context. Makes church history understandable
I’ve been listening for a few weeks and I’ve listened to several series (Blacks & the Priesthood, polygamy, the endowment, Church finance, etc.). I most appreciate that they put the history in context. Something that’s always been hard for me is that the Doctrine and Covenants is not chronological and we often teach church history out of order and out of context. I am actually excited to study the Doctrine and Covenants next year because I’m going into it with some context and a framework of viewing the restoration of the church
