Stick to music
When I was in high school, I loved this guy. He had a way with words that really moved me. But now that Chris is on his own, I don't really like any of his new projects. I wonder if it was really just John Buckland that I enjoyed. I mean, Yellow was a fantastic song but perhaps it was the 3 note guitar solo that I was hanging onto, not Chris's melodious pipes. Also, at this point in his life, I'm quite surprised Chris is spending so much time focused on trivia and politics. Maybe he just needed to decompress after the uncoupling from Gwyneth and felt that a podcast was the way to do it. But then why use a photo of that dude with glasses as his podcast art? It's a total non sequitur. Some speculate that this is Chris's "Chris Gaines" phase and we'll get the old Chris back soon. I sure as heck hope so. Fix You was the best song ever and I want to hear more of that. Sidenote: I used to really love U2 but then I lost my house. Ever since I started living on the streets, that music no longer spoke to me. So you might say Chris is sorta like this homeless man's U2. Maybe that doesn't mean much to some but it's what keeps me going through the day. That and soup.Read full review »

It appears that the show's budget went mostly to the theme music - money well spent. It's a nice, catchy game show theme.Read full review »
