“I have been looking to grow my faith and find a bible devotional podcast that I could stick with for a while now and am so happy I stumbled upon Diana Marie's podcast a month ago. I haven't missed an episode since and I love that it's a daily devotional so it helps me feel a little "closer and connected," than if I knew it was recorded a month prior. She is engaging, has great personal additions to the scripture, has a good speaking voice, and has so many great one-liners I've wanted to pull over and write down, lol. I am also glad to hear she has a Facebook and a Patreon, which I plan to join as I want to grow in community and meet like-minded, faith-seeking women friends.
I live in LA and it's been a blessing listening to her, and it's the perfect addition to my commute. It's a great show but if I had to make any critical notes it would be these, but honestly so minor but wanted to throw it out there:
- volume should be slightly taken up (I've noticed when I put her podcast on, I've had to take up my volume higher than normal)
- longer devos (but maybe that's a me thing, being in LA, my commute is easily 45 minutes to an hour every day), but if the episode is 15 minutes long, about 5 minutes of that is about her patreon, FB group, housekeeping, etc. so really only 10 minutes is the actual devotional. i would love for it to be longer but I understand that it needs to be good with majority of her listeners who probably has shorter commutes than mine.
