Description
🎙️Welcome back for episode 5 of CTRH Podcast, where we have real conversations intended to make an actual difference. Today, I have the pleasure of hosting Maqbull Mohammed, a popular Entertainer here in Kenya, best known for his shows on radio and various acting roles on popular Kenyan TV productions. He is now working in the Events promotion space and as an entrepreneur. Maqbull is a dedicated father of 3, one daughter & two sons, all now in their teens. Maqbull shares his personal experiences growing up & the lack of adequate Comprehensive Sexuality Education we endured as young people growing up in Kenya at the time. He also shares his approach to having appropriate and timely conversations with his own children now and the challenges that comes with after receiving such a poor foundation. Further, we discuss the need to unlearn and relearn as parents, as well as the importance of therapy to better equip ourselves to do this. Finally, he breaks out some tough truths about our men and the catastrophic gap being experienced today due to a notable increase in divorces and absent fathers.
