Loved the old version of this but hearing Alice — a true attorney and former prosecutor —really adds so much to the presentation of each episode. Beautifully presented and true Crime!! Perfect!

I love the old city confidential show and even the newer iteration. The original version was narrated by a legend. This podcast host just does not have a good speaking voice. She sounds like she’s telling a tale around a camp fire.

Still early, but so far so good!

Used to be a major fan of original City Confidential - this podcast does not come anywhere to the quality of original - do not like the narrator at all

Alice’s familiar voice adds warmth to this great new podcast with sympathetic storytelling.

Too bad for this narrator choice.

if you listen to a lot of true crime podcast, you realize they fall into two groups: entertainment, and professional insight. The entertainment ones have more narrator, personality, and less learning. The other category is the one that teaches you something often times many things about forensics...Read full review »

This was #1 fave show on TV from season 1’s premiere & I was so excited when I saw that it was made available via podcast. When I caught on that Alice was narrating … I loved it! Evolution brings progress & progress delivers new - having a new, female narrator, is a nice change :).

Very simply and extremely well produced. Easy to listen to and not be distracted with jibber jab of what the hosts are watching on TV these days.

Don’t listen to the jealously, Alice. You have a great voice, obviously. Jurors love it. Listeners love it.

I’ve listen to dozens of true crime podcasts and I love everything about this, especially the interviews and first hand experiences of people that worked the case. Keep it coming!

Alice does such a great job on any podcast she’s on. Her voice and retelling are always a hit.

The voice of a host is everything. I can after hearing one sentence if I’ll like a show or not and this is a keeper! Way better than the old version.

If you’re going to revive City Confidential, you have to use a narrator similar to the one the show originally had. That was part of what made the show so great. Instead, you’re using Alice from the Prosecutors podcast to narrate this show. Who’s idea was that??? Her nasally voice totally ruins it.
