Wonderful stories
The podcast is simply a short story with a minimum of fluff -- exactly what I want. The stories themselves are excellent; since I've been listening I cannot think of a single one I did not enjoy. Kate Baker's narration is decent, and clearly improving. There was some sibilence (hissing on "s" sounds) issues in earlier podcasts, and they still occasionally appear again, but she has stated she's aware of it and working on it. Her diction is very clear and understandable.Read full review »

This podcast is lovely in every way. The stories are beautiful and thoughtful and they are wonderfully narrated through the mellifluous voice of Kate Baker. I have never noticed a single audio issue so long as I have listened.

Clarkesworld Magazine offers for free some of the best Science Fiction short stories out there. Having been awarded a Hugo the quality speaks for itself. From these podcasts I would recommend the ones read by Kate Baker. Her voice is soothing and rich, and she brings much emotion into the works.
