Good choices, no poetry
This podcast gives a good variety of classic poetry. The problem I have with it is this: the reader has no sense of poetry at all. The words are well-read and the reader's voice is pleasant to hear, but it's as if he is reading prose. Every once in a while I'll hear a rhyme and it will actually throw me off. There's no rhythm or sense of meter at all. This probably helps some people - it's often easier to grasp the meaning of poetry when the rhythm and rhyme are out of the way - but for me, all the beauty of poetry is lost when the rhythm is ignored.
