Crying First Thing in the Morning
This podcast is brilliant. I've read all of Alan Alda's books, and his latest one on communication and empathy really struck me. This podcast seems to center around those same two themes, while delving into the lives of remarkable people. The Sarah Silverman episode was just what I needed to hear right now. With all of the ugliness happening in the world, it's easy to become "Us against Them." I'm guilty of slipping into this mentality on occasion myself. Sarah and Alan's discussion on finding common ground and coming from a place of love reminded me of who I really am inside, and that you can't reach people by yelling and correcting. A podcast with two of the funniest people on the planet moved me to tears.Read full review »
