Magnificent
Mark Steyn has been waiting twelve years to defend himself against the ludicrous and puffed-up creep Michael Mann, in what is by any stretch of the imagination an absurd libel action. The delay has been caused almost entirely by legal objections by Michael Mann – which you may think strange given that it is he who is suing. It seems to me that the silly little creature is running scared; if so, good. Steyn has been keen to go to trial from day one, and the regrettable delay means that he is now in frail, physical health, following sudden and unexpected heart attacks in the wake of his receipt of an experimental medical treatment that has been given to, and in some cases, forced upon, billions of people (of which we should perhaps say no more). Despite his ill health, Steyn is representing himself, and doing so with his customary wit and acerbity, and this podcast gives a daily update on what is expected to be a three week trial. The outcome is uncertain, not least because Mann has very carefully selected Washington DC as the venue for his trial - and there can be few other cities in the world more composed of screaming ninnies who are frightened that the sky is going to fall in because of 'climate change'. But going on the evidence of the first three days of this trial that would be an astonishing miscarriage of justice. I warmly recommend this podcast, and Mark Steyn, to everyone. It is no exaggeration to say that he is a hero for our times.Read full review »

The evisceration of Michael Mann’s character and reputation in a court of law for all the world to hear is just a thing of beauty to behold. Mark Styne’s opening statement is so blisteringly spot on, you...Read full review »

A lot of work has gone into this podcast with actors, playing the parts of Mark Steyn, Judge and various councils. Already there is skulduggery and humour and we are only at day two. One of the ironies of the case is that it begins whilst in a big freeze. At the heart of the case is the...Read full review »
