“This is honestly one of the best podcasts on both the books&show, as well as my personal favourite. Besides being the unmatched bible for everything Jaime&Brienne (with 2 readthroughts of their chapters, one currently ongoing), these ladies and occasional gents provide a lot of interesting and thoughtful insight on the series as a whole, with many episodes dedicated to the other characters (as well as complete readthroughts for Catelyn and Tyrion), the continuation of the story (a lot of theorizing for twow), some much appreciated critical analysis about the questionable aspects of Martin's writing (I especially recommend the episode "A song of ice and feminism") and A LOT of critical analysis for the show (be prepared, it can be hard to listen af first, especially for show-only-watchers, but I guarantee it's not unwarrented and it will inspire you to read the books). What makes it even better is that there's a continous rotation of points of view, with new guests every week, so there are plenty of different ideas going around and being discussed. So, even if you are not a JB fan, give this podcast a listen, it will not disappoint! And to you ladies: I found the podcast around the beginning of season 8, and by the end of the show I had listened to almost every episode - I was enraged because of its ending and you gave me a little corner where I could vent about all the little details no one in real life was interested in... It was so refreshing to hear discussions about my favourite characters and sharing your frustration over all the changes made to J and B in the show made me decide to pick the books up. It was the best thing I could have done, I'm currently halfthrough Clash and I'm listening to your Cat and Tyrion episodes while I go on (a very Brienne-emotional chapter has just passed by and I can't wait to listen to your commentary after writing this). Between you and the guys from "Davos after dark" it's like having my personal book club. Now I actually look forward to doing the dishes because I know I will pass the time with you - and now after some listening I can actually distinguish your voices ahah!
