I like a lot of the guest pick but bill gets so out of it he asks questions and then interrupts the answer leaving the audience with the curiosity of the guest answer! Very frustrating, but on the other hand bill is a smart thoughtful guy usually, and he seems to be helping the wackos on the far...Read full review »

He has some interesting guests. More relaxed than his TV show. I liked Julian Lennon and Cameron Crow. For most interviews Bill seems alright but after listening to about 10 minutes of lecturing John Fogerty on 60’s rock and roll, John Fogerty. I wanted to read through my and slap Bill and tell...Read full review »

I love Bill’s Real Time and Club Random episodes- the intellectual discussion, humour and irreverence. As a Canadian was shocked though to hear Bill ask Martin Short in the discussion on JFK’s death, ‘ oh you heard that in Canada?’ OMG Bill, it shocked our nation and was immediately on all the...Read full review »

I agree with William Shatner. We all have HBO and know what you think …so chill and let your guests actually speak.

Bill and the pod are great, but the continued efforts to force feed Sage Steele’s podcast are beyond annoying. She is a whiny professional victim. She is literally everything Bill purports to dislike about today’s society, but he keeps putting her vapid show in his feed. JUST STOP!

I've long enjoyed Real Time as one of the few media venues where people who disagree engage in something approximating open and honest discussion, seasoned with some pretty shrewd (and funny) political commentary from Maher. This is not that. Rather, this seems to be an expression of...Read full review »

Been a big fan of Bill Maher for many many years. But in recent years, he seems to really be full of himself even more so than normal, and losing his unique perspective that generated such a large audience. More often than not, he’s starting to sound like an old conservative curmudgeon .These...Read full review »

When it comes to Gavin Newsoms it’s like all he sees is a future president and that’s delusion and anything Trump he gets nutty about. Don’t get me wrong there is plenty wrong with Trump. But at the same time to say you are all for Gavin the one who is destroying Cali…and because he lives in a...Read full review »

I love listening to your podcasts Bill. I am Australian and live in Melbourne and your point of view is amazing, factual and so funny. Come on down under and do some shows… the guys on the 3aw breakfast show love you too and that’s how I originally heard about you. Hilarious mate! Fiona 🤓

A long time ago my ex wife said I reminded her of Bill Maher. I wish I was as cool as him: He thinks for himself, which tbh is not that common in 2024. Of course the left and the right both come for him, which just shows how sane he is in a crazy world:

I’ve always suspected that the most successful comedians are serious intellectuals, and this episode is proof. John and Bill are delightful in their wide-ranging discourse, demonstrating genuine curiosity about the world. Bill is the perfect example of everything that is wrong with our country at the moment. Completely out of touch with reality and the common man, he thinks his ideas and beliefs are all that matter and it shows in his overbearing and dominant conversations with people far smarter and more in tune...Read full review »

Talk less and give your guest a chance. We know your views, your background & we are fans. Ask more questions from your guests, obviously you have invited them over, it’s good just to listen.

First time I listened to Bill’s podcast. I’m a big Bill fan. But that Patrick Ben David is a clown. Scott Galloway says that if someone is rich and not bright they are an insurance salesman. Bingo! That’s what he does!

I kind of feel bad for Bill. He is a lonely narcissist that hides behind pot and alcohol. His guests like Oliver Stone have exposed his lack of basic world facts. Just found this podcast recently. I really like the format of the show. It feels like you’re just listening to two people converse and it’s so much less forced and produced than other podcasts. I love the variety of guests too!

Bill needs to push back on Bet-David and the like when they say the Right is for choice just on the point of covid vaccine. Did we forget they overturned Roe vs Wade and are trying to implement total abortion ban? Maybe it’s easy to ignore if you’re not someone who can get pregnant.

Bill gets some of the most interesting people from a wide range of perspectives on his show. Then he doesn’t let them talk.

Too much “locker room” talk. Sometimes rude and insensitive to guests. Usually under the influence making stupid remarks. I always look forward to a new episode. I especially enjoy the video version. Camera needs to zoom out some.

I absolutely love Club Random. This podcast truly is the end of Bill Maher. Every episode is the same. The ice and glasses clinking right off the bat is enough to turn this off and bills new mouth smacking habit is insufferable.
