“Cas, thank you SO MUCH for starting this podcast. I’m so glad I found it! You have given me really great tips on *meaningful* organizing, productivity and motivation. I have always thought that I was just a disorganized slob, but thanks to you, I’ve realized that I’m actually doing a much better job of it than I thought, even if my house is still messy and I still have a long ways to go. The one minute rule really is a life changer and I am trying to train myself into observing it daily, moment to moment. I think I am going to have to make my husband start listening to you as well, because he’s truly terrible about not putting things away *right away* and no matter how many times I tell him where stuff is, where stuff goes, he will still default to claiming he had no idea where/how to find it and/or he just won’t even bother to check first and instead goes out and just buys a new whatever he’s looking for. I married a Buddhist monk (seriously) who is the least mindful person ever when it comes to keeping house! My dear departed grandma used to joke that she’d been training my dear departed grandpa for decades and she almost had him house trained... 65 years later he still was a mess! I’d like to get my husband better on track and much sooner than 60 years from now! I would love to hear your best advice on how we can better wrangle our messy spouses. Please do some shows on house training your spouse!”
