Silence is one of the least discussed and one of the most important keys to coaching. Will Rogers said “Never miss a good chance to shut up.” Silence lets you do that and you don't need an excuse.  Another quote I love is this one. “I've begun to realize that you can listen to silence and learn from it. It has a quality and a dimension all its own.” ― Chaim Potok, The Chosen What you can learn in a moment of silence is very profound, and the one of the foundations to coaching. Use it and your influence and impact will continue to grow.
