Programming Details Delivered in a Good Conversation
There are many programming podcasts available, but this is the only one where the hosts give great technical insight, delivered in a conversational style. They cover a huge range of topics from many different perspectives and with differing opinions, which keeps the show interesting. In my search for programming podcasts I came across a lot of boring shows, but this one rocks. You guys play off each other well, and not to be xenophobic, but you're all from the States, which really makes you easy to listen too. Other podcasts are delivered by hosts from foreign countries with thick accents - I feel like I'm sitting through freshman Calculus again. You also make me feel like there are professional, humble people in the workforce, and that programmers/software engineers aren't all a bunch of sarcastic, know-it-all, 21-year old, immature, jack-waggons. It is great to be able to listen to an entertaining podcast about various design practices, development tips, and latest news/releases in the software world. As an engineer, I find that most of the stories/jokes hit close to home.
