“I really enjoy both the results of listening to the podcast, and the experience of listening to the podcast itself. Mark and Kara are very entertaining, and it feels very 'at home'; you feel part of the experience, even though I'm 6000 miles away from their studio in Scotland. I've learned a lot and love testing out my new Spanish vocabulary on my friends and family.
The only issue I'm having is that when I come home and start speaking Spanish to my husband who is much more familiar with Latin American Spanish, he sometimes looks at me in confusion, because the phrases used in mainland Spanish can be quite different sometimes. Still, CBS had to pick one or the other and as a show coming from Scotland, it's much more natural for them to choose the mainland Spanish version - most people from Britain have a much higher chance of going to Spain than to Mexico!
