Ever since he emerged as the fastest pacer in the 2022 U-19 World Cup, Rajvardhan Hangargekar has been labelled as Osmanabad Express. Born in Tuljapur and raised in Osmanabad (now Dharashiv), Hangargekar moved to Pune in quest of making it big on a cricket field. Having gained experience playing alongside the likes of legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the last three years for Chennai Super Kings, Hangargekar is one of the uncapped youngsters to watch out for the Indian Premier League’s Player Auction. Having placed a strong emphasis on fitness, Hangargekar aims to win more trophies for Maharashtra.
