“I've been buying trades and collected editions rather than single issues for about five years now, and this podcast is indispensible. Chris is a knowledgable and personable on-air presence. His weekly news items have informed my buying habits for over a year now. I guess that means this review is long overdue; sorry, Chris. One of my favorite purchases and reads of the past year was Dark Horse's Herbie Archives. I heard it first on the CCL podcast! Another gem of 2008 was v.1 of the Ted McKeever library. Chris's occasional interviews, with folks like Roy Thomas and that fella from Image, are both informal and informative. In fact, I'd love to hear more of these. I usually listen while running, and while I loved the jazzy intro he used last year, his recent switch to Springsteen's "Radio Nowhere" makes me pick up the pace every time.
