As Jesus is about to leave, He tells His disciples not to do anything but to wait. When He sends the Holy Spirit, then they can act. In Acts 1, we see three reasons why the Spirit matters so much. 1. God's plans for humanity are centered on His Spirit. 2. God's plans are revealed by His Spirit. 3. God's plans are directed by His Spirit.
