Speaking this week is Simon Liversidge, our Lead Pastor. After Jesus dies, two men who had secretly born disciples of Jesus suddenly make their decision public. They boldly ask Pilate for permission to bury Jesus. Their action is a BOLD invitation to us to be mature disciples of Jesus! I can't do that by simply going to church. I need Jesus to disciple me. That journey will almost certainly require contemplative prayer, long friendships, and/or suffering.

We look forward to seeing you this Sabbath!

Even though Jesus feels abandoned on the cross, just as David did in Psalm 22, His faith remains strong as He knows how His story ends because He knows who His...
