Been listening for nearly a year (I think, curse you pandemic time!) and enjoy the podcast for the calm, casual format as well as the mostly positive outlook on things. When the podcast does cover MTG topics, expect insightful and optimistic opinions. In the 4th if Feb 2022 episode, you mentioned...Read full review »

But don’t want to google how many Americans are bilingual? You said it was insignificant. Maybe for the game you play but it’s 20-22 % and that’s reported, likely upwards of 30%. Simple google for you pleb, or even a deeper search would reveal obviousness. Anti-prejudice is prejudice.

DeQuan and Allen are awesome! I just discovered the pod not too long ago but it’s quickly became one of my favorite podcasts! They dig into real world issues that affect gaming. Its a mainstay in my weekly podcast rotation now!

The hosts are great! It’s a fantastic mix of light hearted banter and real social commentary that overlaps MTG and the broader gaming community. I always walk away from an episode better for having heard it and would highly recommend it to anyone. Definitely stay until the weekly dinner table...Read full review »

Gaming news, social issues, the business of streaming, history lessons. It’s not just the breadth of topics you’ll find on Color of Magic that is impressive; it’s that the hosts keep everything orderly and coherent (and intellectually and emotionally impactful).

Who has time for all of the podcasts out there? I’m constantly culling podcasts that I don’t have time for. Color of Magic is a beautiful synergy of topical world issues and MtG. You can’t go wrong. Great show, great hosts, great guests. Well done.

I really love the show and how it helps to broaden my perspective horizon. They provide a point of view that otherwise would be lacking in my life, and I’m appreciative of that.

It is great to be able to listen to diverse voices unafraid to talk about difficult issues within these nerd spaces. The show is amazing, and has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts!

I like this podcast because it brings a unique perspective into the MTG space and talks about some of the more important things in life and magic. My only problem is that you guys tend to focus on Magic: Arena whereas I play EDH paper magic. Otherwise this podcast is awesome keep up the good...Read full review »

This show is great. It’s exactly what I needed, and didn’t even know it. Being a dude from Chicago who didn’t really play MTG with others outside my playgroup, I didn’t realize how poorly represented people like me were. I’m extremely happy that this show exist. I wish I would have found this...Read full review »

Honestly I’m relatively knew you magic but I’ve known all about it my whole life. I grew up in the 90s and was very familiar with seeing kids play but they were always all white males so I just never felt like I would be accepted as POC. I play the game today and I love it. I love that the people...Read full review »

I have only listened to episode 35, which is more about color than Magic, but the clarity and quality of the discussion convinced me to subscribe immediately. Two truths in that episode: I never had a black teacher until I was in college, and I can only think of one time I played Magic with...Read full review »

I just discovered this podcast, and am very happy to add it to my diet of MtG content creators. The areas of the game covered is wide and always insightful. The hosts are funny, have smart, competent analysis of scenes from competitive to casual, and provide thoughtful commentary on community...Read full review »

As I write this, just the first couple episodes have dropped. But they're exactly what I’ve been looking for. Engaging hosts with perspectives heard too rarely (mythically?) in the vast array of Magic-focused talk media. It’s not all about race, diversity, privilege, or bias - that wouldn’t...Read full review »
