“I listen to a lot of comics podcasts. From IGN to iFanboy to Word Balloon and beyond. But this is my favourite. Hands down the best podcast in the field. The rapport between Bob, Bobby, Steve & Steph is a big part of the shows attraction. You can tell they all genuinely love comics and are great friends. They have fantastic discussions, from Marvel Vs DC, to worst comic adaptations for the screen - the debate is always in depth but flavoured with a humour that only comes with being friends. Some of the other podcasts in the field are quite rushed and they tend to fly through reviews and topics, not so with Talking Comics, they take their time, just like you should when reading your favourite titles. Toward the end of each episode they run through this weeks releases, which is very handy, if like me, your wallet weeps every Wednesday. My only criticism is that I'm spending more on books than before, but that's down to some great recommendations from the team at Talking Comics. But that's my fault, not theirs.
