“and I love that. As a biologist for the US Army, I spend every week explaining how environmental science works to stupid conservatives. I’m always sure to use super scary words like “evolution” and “climate change” when describing impacts of a given operation, just to see which officers twitch in their uncomfortable stupidity. Then I ask if they have a question, to which they either smirk in silence or shake their heads, as they lack any substantive data (or general wherewithal) to refute my presentations.
