“Aimed at intermediate Russian learners this is inspirational stuff from Max, and ties in with his website (russianwithmax.com) and with his YouTube channel.
The method is essentially explaining more complicated words and phrases by using simpler words , repetition, synonyms, vivid description and sound effects! All in Russian. This works so well as the simpler stuff you think you already know becomes 'bedded' into your subconscious as your learning advances.
The subject matter is varied and the whole endeavour is threaded through with Max's 'off the wall' sense of humour which often has me laughing out loud.
