It’s has good moments
There are some funny moments in this podcast and some good messages here and there but it also has a lot of issues. First, the voice actress isn’t very good at accents but seems to want to give an accent to every other character. I also think it might have been a better option to hire someone more professional and trained for this type of job, as it sounds more like she’s reading the script as it is than actually trying to act it. The script itself is also really weird in certain parts, like the episode where (spoiler alert) she thinks she’s pregnant, and then decides to get off the pill and use condoms instead because “clearly the pill isn’t working” even though she wasn’t pregnant in the end? Wouldn’t it be safer to be on the pill and use a condom? Anyways, things like that don’t make sense and there’s a lot of scenarios similar to that. The main character is hard to like for me, honestly I think the only reason I keep listening is for Jemma but i can’t stand her voice. It’s okay for what it is but I have to admit I think it’s overrated.

More reviews of Confessions of a New Grad
Honestly this is the best, most relatable podcast I’ve ever listened to! So relaxing, moving and empowering. Every grad should listen to this!

This is a really well written story. It paints an engaging picture of what life is like for a young person negotiating life as a new grad in Vancouver: starting work, looking for a place to live, and seeking romance and connection with friends.

Good story, terrible fake accents. Why did a secondary character need to be Irish?
