Description
1 in 7 Australian women live with endometriosis, an invisible illness that takes on average 6.5 years to diagnose and costs around $30K. There is currently no cure, and FIT(ish) host Phoebe Parsons is one of the women who live with this condition.  Welcome to the FIT(ish) Endo Series, a 4-week series released in conjunction with Endometriosis Awareness Month to raise awareness in the hope of earlier detection and diagnosis.  In this episode, Phoebe chats with former Miss World Australia Tess Alexander about her earliest symptoms, the road to diagnosis, and why life isn't what she thought it would look like even post-surgery.
