“My husband recommended this podcast to me and, as I had little knowledge of the Middle East and have an interest in global politics, I decided to start at the beginning and make my way through. I have since binge listened to both seasons, so informative and helpful! Aimen’s insight into Islamic eschatology was fascinating and Thomas’ knowledge is clearly vast on these topics as well. I have been recommending this podcast to everyone I have been meeting up IRL.
If Aimen ever becomes a lecturer, I will be enrolling in his class!

“This is an excellent series. But I thought the comparison between Venezuela & Saudi Arabia was quite simplistic. Aimen knows that those 2 countries are treated differently by the West, & that SA is given a pass on many things.”
