I needed this more than I knew
I’m both highly educated in science and sometimes still vulnerable to the manipulative messages coming out of the wellness industry. Ex: As a multi decade yogi, I completely believed for many years that yoga could fix nearly anything. The reason I believed that? It was told to me by trusted teachers and credible magazines. Because I did a lot of yoga and still had lots of problems (including physical injury) I often thought the problem was me: I wasn’t disciplined or austere enough. I wish *this podcast* existed 15-20 years ago so I could have more quickly realized the perverted power structures and messages that arise even in wellness-type communities. This podcast is deep, analytical, refreshing, and sometimes I don’t agree but I still learn and think more clearly because of it. Thank you thank you thank you. Telling everyone I know to listen.
