Meh
Wellness culture is so notably marketed to women and there are so many intersections with feminism, white feminism, the beauty industry, #metoo etc. that it’s super jarring to listen to men talk about it with very little input from women (other than the partners they mention I guess). The #metoo stuff was especially cringe, with one of the hosts feeling the need to mention how attractive his wife was before sharing her experiences with sexism in the workplace. Interesting to discover a new flavor of self-indulgent podcast bro. It’s a fascinating topic well worth exploring just not by these guys.
