Stop Telling People Not to Wear Masks
People have to make that determination on their own. The more that I see articles about frenzied mask-buying, the more it sounds like deliberate propaganda. The argument falls flat - Masks are not effective, stop buying them, first responders need them. If they aren’t effective, why do first responders need them? Because the ARE (somewhat) effective since the virus is AIRBORNE! CDC subtlety revised their mask guidance saying that no one should buy a mask unless they are sick, are a healthcare worker OR are in an affected area! We are all in an affected area. I take multiple trains every day and I’m wearing a mask and gloves. This repeated guidance to not buy masks reminds me of the intercom announcements in the World Trade Centers it remain in the towers. We all have brains and instincts for a reason, I will use mine. Everyone else should use theirs too. Check out Coronavirus Central for a real podcast, not 5 min bits of propaganda. Dr. Gupta should have accepted Obama’s offer to become surgeon general. Maybe he would have made a real difference in public health preparedness for this pandemic. Even Trump likes people who “get good press” and look good on TV, he might have kept on a well-known TV doctor.

Good information where the average human can follow the facts that are being given. Straight and to the point and you don’t need to have any kind of medical degree or medical background to be able to follow or understand. Great podcast!
